A.) Use razor to slice slivers a few inches long
from the inside of the cockpit coming
B.) Use a heat gun to briefly heat the area of the hole
holding the slivers in there ( needle nose pliers )
C.) Slice off some excess with the razor when cool
P.S. - the cockpit coming is the lip where the spray skirt snaps around
